Seeking any connections or information on Martin MCLOUGHLIN and his wife Mary GORMAN. Martin and Mary had at least four children in the Hollymount district, three born to the address Drumhill, outside Aghagower, between 1865 and 1868, and the fourth at Garriestown, Ballygarries. Martin McLoughlin, b. 1839, location unknown m. Mary Gorman, b. 1846, location unknown Children: 1. Patrick McLoughlin, b. 08 March 1865, Drumhill, Hollymount District 2. Anthony McLoughlin, b. 16 May 1866, baptised 02 Dec 1858 (this is certainly an error in the record). Drumhill, Hollymount District 3. Mary McLoughlin, b. 24 March 1868, Drumhill, Hollymount District (1911 England Census says birthplace was Ballinrobe) 4. John McLoughlin, b. 11 June 1869, Garriestown, Hollymount District Children born nearby a few years later were: Bridget McLoughlin, b. 1874 in Tuam, Co. Galway Susan McLoughlin, b. 1876 in Athenry, Co. Galway By 1879, the family appears in Fenloe, Newmarket on Fergus, Co. Clare, where at least two more children (William and Robert) were born, before moving on to Dalkey, Co. Dublin (two more children, Walter and Eva), and finally ending up in Aldershot, Hampshire. Martin was, by all accounts, involved with horses, either as a groom, coachman, or a dealer. I'd love a contact who could check church records for baptisms, or help get birth records. I'm also interested in any historical information about these specific locations/addresses listed on the birth records. Finally, I am hoping to find a marriage record for Martin and Mary. It's believed Patrick was their first child, so I'm hoping they were married nearby. Thanks for reading, Mickey Rogers Indianapolis, IN
