But, I may be wrong on that account. So far I have been able to determine that all the families from my Irish side of the family, "appear" to have originated in and around Tourmakeady, now in South Mayo, but then, (at the time of the famine), in Co.Galway. My Hannicks married into the Malley, O'Malley, Mailey family and settled in and around, Perth, Dundee, Forfar, and several other parts of Perthshire and Co. Angus in Scotland, post 1846.
