You need to give the parishes as well as the townlands. The Irish Times site will allow you to convert civil parishes to Catholic and tell you the status of the Catholic records. As Mary Ellen indicates, Griffith's should be helpful (see askaboutireland.ie), as well as the Tithe Applotments (nationalarchives.ie).
