There is a record of a Thomas Conway to Catherine Walsh. However, I believe this shouldbe Conroy. I have found baptisms for their children (Conroy) in Mace Middle and Knockatober and Rockfield. My great grandmother was Mary Conroy born in Mace Middle in 1865. She married Thomas Johnston in Stoke on Trent. Thomas Johnston also came from Mayo and I have found a birth in Carrowbeg in 1864.
