There is some sort of possible connection between my gg grandmother, Mary (Tarpy) Dooley, and the Walsh family. Very little is known about her but it is suspected that she was from Mayo. There was a Catherine Tarpy from Mayo who was a sister of a Walsh male, but I have not been able to link her to Mary. That was a small community so the likelihood of relationships may be greater.
