I think you are also right about the brogue being an issue as there seems to be some dispute as to whether my gg grandmother's maiden name was Connors or Connolly. Most documents show Connors but one marriage entry shows Connolly which I think is a mistake. I have actually obtained copies of the register for my g grandmother and also for her sister and whilst every other entry has quite detailed addresses the two I am interested in both just say Ireland unfortunately.
