There was a Patrick Ansbro who is listed in SSDI, born Oct 20 1899 died Brooklyn (zipcode 11220) in August 1977. There was a Patrick Ansbro (traveling with a Martin Ansbro) who arrived in NY in 1927. They were from Knockmore, Manulla Mayo. Patrick was 28 born@ 1899. Their father was Thomas Ansbro in Knockmore. They were going to their brother-in-law, Mr Mccarten, at 115-53-201st St NY 3 yrs later in the 1930 census, there were 2 Patrick Ansbro(s) in NY of about the right age: Patrick Ansbro age 29, single, an employee/attendant at the Brooklyn State Hospital at 681 Clarkson. However this states he emigrated in 1924. Patrick Ansbor, age 28, single, a chauffeur for a private family. He was living in the Oyster Bay section of Nassau Co NY, in the village of Old Brookside. But this one also has emig date of 1923 There was a Patrick Joseph Ansbro who applied for citizenship in March 1956, birth date Feb 8 1901, who resided at Manhattan State Hosp in Wards Island NY. This Patrick Joseph Ansbro died 17 Dec 1962 and is buried at Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale NY. He had served in the Army in WWII. (Section 2m Site 3247) Also in 1930, there was a Martin J Ansbro, age 26 born Ireland (about the right age for the Martin that traveled with brother Patrick from Knockmore) He was working at Kings Park State Hosp in Kings Park, Smithtown NY (Suffolk) co. This Martin may be the Martin Joseph Ansbro, born @ 1905, who applied for citizenship in 1929, while an employee of Manhattan St Hosp, Wards Island NY. He was not married at that time. He may be the Martin J Ansbro who was born 20 Apr 1905 and died 9 Jul 1964 and is also buried at Long Island National Cemetery Farmingdale Section 2p Site 1971. His wife Catherine (b 2 Dec 1906) who died 27 Mar 1989 is buried with him. But there was a Martin Ansbro from Hollymount, Claremorris Mayo that arrived at age 19 in 1923.
