Hi to the Corcoran's, I have a Corcoran connection. My Twigg family apparently rented from Corcoran in Crossmolina. They married into the Mash family (from LeCarrow). I get this from the revised Griffith Evaluation transcribed by Diane Sweeney, who originally interpreted the Twigg name as "Toughy". The best I can figure, In the 1860's they lived on the west side of the river, not far from the Catholic Church that is still there today. From her, I also find a Grenahan -Twigg marriage in the 1830-ish zone. I've been told that the Grenahan name still thrives there today. I have more specifics. I'd be happy to share what I have found.
