He and Jane Osmond had a total of nine children : Mary Louisa b 1869, Laura b 1870(died aged 7), Ernest P b 1872, Maud Ellen b 1874,William Osmond b 1876, Henry b 1879, John Francis b 1880, Laura Catherine (my grandmother) b 1883 and Jane Elizabeth b 1886. Patrick was a policeman in the Royal Ulster Constabulary from 1855 to 1865 when he resigned and came to England to join the Metropolitan Police Force. I have quite a lot more information about him and his children if you are interested. Where do you fit into the family tree?
