I don't know of any other directly related Corcorans in the Buffalo NY area. My ggrandmother, Mary Corcoran, came to the US in 1887 with her younger sister, Margaret. Her parents were Dominick and Margaret Granahan Corcoran. Mary & Margaret went to stay in Alden NY with the Martin & Katie Ferguson, their sponsors. Martin Ferguson was the son of Bridget Honora Corcoran. She was the younger sister of Dominic Corcoran. Honora married James Ferguson. Martin was in Alden NY around 1886. His parents came to Alden as well. So my ggrandmother, Mary, was Martin's cousin. Also in the Buffalo area were Mary Corcoran's siblings, Michael Corcoran, James Corcoran, Anna Corcoran & Patrick Corcoran. Each remained in Buffalo and are buried here with there families. Other siblings: Nora went to PA and then CA. John & William went to DC (although John was buried in Buffalo). Martin & Bridget Corcoran remained in Ireland.
