Mayo (according to the 1891 British Census) who married Margaret Hynes b. abt Feb 1845 Co. Mayo. They were married December 1868 in Ormskirk, Lancashire, England where Thomas was a coal miner. They had 8 children all born in Lancashire Bridget, Edward, Cornelius, Thomas, Austin, Patrick, Michael and Margaret. Edward immigrated to Scranton, PA and the rest of the family followed in 1893.
