Author: thisledome1 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.ireland.may.general/7568.1.1.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hi David We went to the Friary churchyard and saw a grave that said something about a Killeen family we worked out some how that,that was,nt our Killeen,s must have been your,s did you happen to look in the other graveyard ? the grave stones are beautifull we walked all round it but didnt see any Killeen,s Yes i think you must be right about the Churchill name i did,nt realise that Killeen was spelt that way and so the meaning is for church or chapel .That has solved that mystery i wondered where the name came from .
