None of them were even microfilmed anywhere! Their records were all big secrets. Said I had to send donations and written requests and they'd see what they could do. Some of the small towns had town bmds going back to the 1830s and others didn't. Many of the local Town Clerks weren't there full time. Had more luck with local history information in the small public libraries and local historians. One had copied all the tombstones in the local graveyard including birthplaces in Mayo (and other counties in Ireland too). Over 150 pages all hand written! Tucked away in the local library. Have corresponded with several other local historians too. Also had some luck with naturalisation records and wills. Also the local newspapers on microfilm for obits mostly.
