To Ed Logan, Reed Livingston, Since Roman Catholic church parish records in County Mayo don't include all years of the 1800s "looking for a marriage" in County Mayo for Mary Conroy's parents is impossible without a marriage location unless any random marriage of two people with those names in limited surviving Roman Catholic parish records will suffice. Since Roman Catholic church parish marriage records for "other counties" aren't complete or all online either, the same principle applies -- without knowing the marriage location the result will be just random marriages of two people with those names. That holds true also for a "birth" record for Mary Conroy 1836 with an unknown birth location in the 32 counties on this island. That includes all surname variations. Regarding the error rate in the online "IFHF-BRS" records, that information was contained in an audit of their records. It has also been mentioned by many who already had "original" church parish records and compared them to what appeared in the online "IFHF-BRS" records for their same ancestors. Those messages have appeared on many of the Ireland genealogy lists. But if you're happy accepting that error rate for information about your own ancestors, then of course it's met your needs regardless of the errors.
