I called my Mother to have her look at the Bible again and it does say Balltown, Mayo, Ireland. So I then went on the internet to search this and I too could not find Balltown. But I found 20 e-mail address of museums in Mayo, Ireland so I e-mailed them to ask if that town existed I got several back that said the town is like a land name given to an area outside of Balla, Mayo, Ireland. It is on the side of the Balla that is hilly and rockie. I'm not sure if this helps or not. William Kearns Descendent.
