Mayo members, Looking for family surname of CARLON, in particular Michael CARLON's family in or somewhere around Kiltimaugh or Knock. The family might have left during famine times of shortly thereafter for the UK, Newcastle-under-Lyme in the mid-1800s (1850-1880s??). My GM was born to him and his wife in 1901 and at that point it was listed on her Birth Cert the father and mother were from Ireland but no place certain (but family lore says the areas I have noted is where Michael's family left from --- possibly leaving some relatives behind....if any Carlon families are known in Co.
