MY GM was 1st born to Michael CARLON and Catherine HUGHES in Newcastle-under-lyme in 1901 and the family moved to Haydock (near St. Helens) UL Lancashire ....so if they were in their 20s they would be born 1880..she married my GF and had my father in 1921 in Lancashire.....
