Hello, I'm only just getting started with the genealogy on my Irish side (which immigrated to Rhode Island, USA abt 1890). Today I received my great-great-great grandfather's death certificate from Ireland (James GRENNAN, died 1884) and found my great-geat-grandmother's baptismal record (Sabina GRENNAN, baptised 1867) on http://www.mayoancestors.com. Both events are seem to have occured at Cloonrow, Kilkelly, Swinford, County Mayo, Ireland. Could anyone tell me whether Cloonrow in this case would have been a village, a street name, estate name or what? I've found Kilkelly on the map with google maps - it looks like a very small village. Does anyone know how I could learn more about it? Also, I did search http://www.mayoancestors.com for the marriage of Sabina's parents - James GRENNAN to Mary MORAN likely before 1857, but was unsuccessful. Does anyone have any advice on where I could look next, apart from just having to order the microfilm from an LDS Family History Centre? Sorry for what might be basic questions - I appreciate any help as I get started here. Regards, Rachel Goulet
