    3. I want to thank everyone for their help with getting me pointed in the right direction with my GRENNANs. I had not heard of the websites mentioned ( http://griffiths.askaboutireland.ie/gv4/gv_start.php), ( http://ifhf.brsgenealogy.com/), and ( http://www.mayolibrary.ie/maps/data/MapsData/index.htm), and although I've only been able to spend a few hours figuring things out so far, they have been a huge help. As Pete suggested, it looks like Cloonrow is a local name for an area within a townland - but upon reviewing the resources he suggested and my records, it looks like Kilkelly refers to just the registration district that Cloonrow is in, rather than the village which I originally thought - it seems Cloonrow may be in the Urlaur townland and this is supported by the "Residence of Informant" on James GRENNAN's death certificate for his brother Patrick of Urlaur - and the "Cloonroe Br." notation on the area map, plus Griffith's Valuation records showing James GRENNAN(s?) living right near there (possibly my James' father and/or himself?). And the (http://ifhf.brsgenealogy.com/) site does have a marriage record in 1846 that might be James' as Ed and Pat pointed out, so I'll be purchasing that next to see where that leads me! I might have some more questions once I get a chance to process all this, but thanks again for all your help in getting me started off right! Rachel

    3. Hello Rachel, Cloonrow is on the R416 (rural road) 1 1/2 miles from the village of Urlaur on the way to the village of Gorthnganny.
