I will check out that website now. I couldn't find them on any passenger lists from Canada, but Darby was naturalized in 1860, and on the form it said he entered the country through Burlington, Vt in 1849 and had been living in Clinton for five years... that surely fits what you've mentioned. The form says he is from the parish of 'Lienady' or 'Tienady' (since Darby signed with an "x" I'm assuming that the court clerk transcribed it as he'd heard it) which is why I thought Islandeady.
