Hi Mayo Listers, As you can see my name is Staunton. I'm hoping to find my father's ancestors in the Belcarra Ballydavock area of Mayo. My father was born (Templemore) in 1931 to Patrick Staunton and Catherine Ryan. Patrick was born about 1905 at Belcarra and father's name was John (my dad thinks?). Patrick had a brother Thomas, two sisters Annie and K?, maybe more. Patrick died in 1977 Newpark Kilkenny and served for a long time in the Garda Siochana joining the force in 1923. According to his obit, Annie married Dignan and lived in Longford, K married Londhra lived at Castlebar. Patrick's cousin Rev B Cuffe Carmelite Order Loughrea and his Patrick's nephew Rev. Padraig Staunton from Carraroe are also mentioned. I would love to from anyone with more info. Thanks, Best wishes, Linda - NW London
