In addition to looking at K for Keane, Kane, etc., then C for Cain, and Cane, look under O for O'Keane, O'Cain, etc. The spelling seemed to reflect the clerk's background rather than the individual. Old RC parish records tend to use the old Irish naming, later church records use the most common version of the time, while the same Civil record might use the English version. Good luck to that!
