However, Griffith's valuation was done about the time Michael was born, and the Griffith's index on failteromhat.com shows 3 Mulroys holding leases in Toomore civil (Foxford RC) parish: Thomas in Leckee townland and 2 Patricks in the town of Foxford. One of them might have been a brother or uncle of John's. Since you have a birth year, I'd suggest you write the largest church in Foxford, Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Michael, and ask them to look for Michael's 1863 baptism. (You could push your luck and ask for other children of John's if they have time.) Be sure to include an offering, as they are probably inundated with such requests and the searches can be time consuming.
