I'm looking for anyone that can help me locate any relatives of James Joseph McDonnell. James was born 22 Nov 1925 in Swinford, County Mayo, Ireland. He was the son of James McDonnell & Mary McNeela. James joined the US Navy and first settled in Chicago Illinois and eventually settled in Racine Wisconsin after serving in the Navy. James then married my Mom's aunt, Clara Norman Schmidt, aka Dodo, in Waukegan Illinois on 6 Dec 1953. James' life ended quite early when he died as the result of an automocile accident on 10 Oct 1958, between Racine & Milwaukee Wisconsin. I would like to learn more about Uncle Jimmy and share what I know about his life here in the US. I also have some pictures that were amongst my Mom's aunt's posessions that I would like to know if they are of his family. Any leads at all would be extremely appreciated. I don't know anything at all about his parents or if he had any siblings. Thanks & SISU!
