James b 2oct1864 John martin b3 nov1866 Michael dominic 27sep1868 Thadeus 24jan 1871 Carolina 17may1873 Bridget 15mar1876 Honor catherine 28jun1878 James' birth was registered in Newport Mayo. The next 4 were registered in Killala Mayo. Bridget -don't know Honor registered in Sligo. As an RIC man Patrick could not work in the county of his birth, so he was not born in Mayo. If he was born in Sligo, he would not normally be allowed to work there. It may be that his wife had the baby Honor at the family home in Sligo, whilst he was stationed in barracks in Mayo. This was common practice, and that birth cert will give both addresses, if that was the case. Or he may have been from a different county altogether. There were 6 Patrick Wynnes serving in the RIC. If he transferred to the RIC in 1857, then his service number was probably 22053 You can see his service record on LDS film no.0856063, assuming I have the correct service number. This will give his age, birth county (and that of his wife) and a list of counties where he was stationed. Cathy
