Hi Rob, if you Google: "mallabraca, co, cork", you will find a lot of info re your Sam Maguire, I'll leave you to enjoy it, however I've found Sam on the 1901 Census: 1901 Census - 26, Camden St, St. Pancras, London Reg Dist St. Pancras Samuel Maguire 24 b 1877 Cork, Ireland, Sorter at Post Office When reading the information on Sam it quite clearly says he was born in Mallabraca near Dunmanway, Co Cork. Hi. Thanks for the info. It does show that he was still in Cork about the time of my Maguires. I will goggle "mallabraca" as you suggested, and perhaps this will lead me to the info on his parents that I have been looking for. Again, thanks!
