She married John Daly and died 17 Nov 1866. Research done at the South Mayo Heritage Centre indicates that by the time of Civil Registration in 1864, there appeared to be no Treacys left in the area. There was a Michael who appeared in Griffith's Valuation. There is a reference to the Treacys in the Folklore Essays collected at Cullane National School in 1937/1938. It states "Another family lived in front of Mrs. Beirne's called the Treacys. They also went to foreign lands. The garden where they lived is called 'Gainne Treasa' (Treacy's Garden)."
