Hi. Thanks for your prompt reply. Yes, I am tracing Maguire ancestors in Mayo, but having some problems. I thought that the way the Wikipedia article read, Sam Maguire came from Mayo, as Cork was never mentioned. I am not sure if Sam Maguire might be related. He is one generation forward of where I am presently researching. It was on an off chance that perhaps there might be a connection to his parents.Any article that I read did not mention his parents, only siblings. Are you tracing Maguires in Mayo also?
