They're only about 10-12 mins away from each other by car at least at the speed I drive! My ggf James Cooke from Kilmacteigue Parish married Margaret Ruddy from Killaser Parish in 1885, so it appears that it would be well worth your while to look at the Parish records for Killasser. Should you do so I'd be grateful if you'd keep an eye out for the death record of my gggf, Martin Ruddy from Knox, Killaser. His wife, Catherine Madden was described as a widow in the 1901 census.
