Pennsylvania is the State and it's a very large State with 67 counties and in all probability many Roches listed in the census. If there's any way to narrow down the location over there it will be very helpful. You may have to search there just as someone would have to search records to find out where their Irish born ancestor came from in Ireland because family there may not know. So you may have to search for their US naturalisation records, obituaries, marriage records, etc. to connect to your specific Roches. Regards.
