According to family information he was born in Westport circa 1892, then moved to England and settled in Middlesbrough.He married Katie Callaghan in England(her father was from Carlingford, Louth). Their marriage certificate states that Patricks father was Anthony McDonough, a farm labourer, but I don't know whether he came to England, or stayed in Ireland, and the names Anne, Anthony, Harry/Henry, James and Nicholas have been mentioned as possible siblings. I beleive at the time that Patrick left for England the family "scattered", although I don't know whether Anthony stayed in Ireland.
