Hi I woinder if anyone can help me. An elderly relative tells me that all my ancestors information was lost in Ireland due to a church being damaged in a storm (she said the church had been washed away but that meybe an exaggeration) I can only assume that the damge was done in 'the big wind' 5th Jan 1839, the timing is right for the dates I am looking for. Does anyone know where Catholic churches were damaged in Mayo during this storm or where I could find the information, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Jean
