However, your post called it the Griffiths Valuation of Tenants and not the Primary Valuation of Tenements which could be very confusing to others who don't have your knowledge of it. Hence the clarification of what it actually is. If you look at the detail in the Primary Valuation (by the way it was published for Mayo in 1856-7) and not the Index Extracts, the focus and detail is about property -- area, description, and assessed valuation.
