We settled in Savannah, Georgia and are still there. My great-grandfather came here as a young man illegally from Strasburg and worked for the police dept, he seems to have travelled a bit- was apparently a cook on a ship and also a skilled musician- I have quite a scattered background- it'd be nice to know we're not the only ones with this name!
