My mother has spent the past couple of years doing lots of reseach (mostly in Sunderland area) to pull historical records to validate our families stories. I picked this up recently, trying to piece together the family tree. I was pleased to come across your communication on rootsweb.com which has shed more light onto the Gibbions side of the family, we had got as far back as Patrick Gibbons and Margaret Kerrigan on that side of the family.
