Civil Registration for Protestants in Ireland for marriage started in 1845 & Catholic in 1864. Have you checked the records in England within the 2-3 yrs. previous to the birth of their first child?? I have found records for my husband's ancestors in England after they left County Tyrone. We had been searching in Ireland by mistake.
