There is no townland mentioned on the death certificate and it would seem that he was never married to Hannah Lomas in Manchester. The family rumour is that he was already married when he left Ireland and that when he died my Great Grandmother was left destitute as they were unmarried. One other clue I have is that he had a sister called Nora(h) in Co.Mayo and my Great Aunt Winifred and Grandma Catherine Cafferky were sent from Manchester to stay with her as there were so many children at home in Manchester.
