I'll just give you a brief synopsis of what i have:- You may see someone here that might be in your family tree!!! Luke 24/12/1872 died abt 19309 (Scullibeen,Crossmolina) Wife Winifred Oct.1872 - 1947 (Both went to Dunmore) Married 1894 Lived in Dunmore, Lackawanna,Pennsylvania. Luke immigrated in 1880 and 1890 to above area. His father was Thomas Lynott,(1867) His mother was Anne Reddington.(Married in Knockmore) Lukes dad married 3 times. First to Peggy Connors,than Anne Reddington,than Bridget Dunleavy. First 2 wives died,Luke,had more siblings from Bridget.About 11 in all.Not sure how many of them went to USA.Names I have that I know went to USA are:- Thomas,Catherine,Winifred.Margaret, and Luke. John 24/1/1874 -Scullibeen,Crossmolina Andrew 20/5/1875-Scullibeen James 1/2/1877-Ardagh Thomas1/2/1877 (yes twins)Ardagh Catherine 17/9/1878-Carragarrow Ulick16/2/1882-Carragarrow Michael 17/1/1883-Scullibeen Ann 27/6/1885-Rathnamagh Winifred 2/10/1887-Scullibeen Margaret 27/10/1889-Scullibeen Unknown Lynott 4/10/1892-Carragarrow My connection here is that my Grandad was John Lynott. Johns Dad was Thomas Lynott 21/10/1867 His Dad again was Thomas Lynott 1838 His Dad Mick Lynott 1800. Yesterday I found Luke's whole family, Luke (24/12/1872-1930) Wife Winifred Traynor(10/1872-1947) Children: Mary Lynott (1895Spouse(Philip Mangan(1898)2kids Helen Lynott (1898)Spouse(Christopher Fox)1896 3 kids Anna Lynott (1901Spouse(Martin Ferguson(1903)No kids Winifred Lynott (190)Spouse (Barrett)Born in PA.No kids. Francis Lynott(son)(1905)Had 1 son Francis Catherine Lynott (1907-1994)Spouse (Michael Lopatka1907) Joseph A. Lynott (1911-1991)no spouse, no children. (All the above were in Dunmore PA. area. Stanley Fox (Helen Lynotts) son (18/11/20-1/3/77) I will be looking into Lukes family a bit more over the next few weeks. Heres hoping someone sees a connection to their family tree here.
