    2. It was not unusual for a tenant to lease multiple plots of land singly or with others. Note that five Cunninghams leased land in the townland but only two leased houses--John Sr. and Peter. James leased one of his plots with Peter, so I'd guess Peter was his father or older brother. Only Peter and John Sr. leased houses, so I'd also guess James lived with Peter at the time of the Valuation. I also often find the maps hard to read. Perhaps someone else can help with the numbering question. Kilcummin civil parish is part of Lacken Catholic parish, so that's where you should look for baptisms and marriages. Diane
