First, start your own thread about the person. Second, list his name and the year and address of the census that you mentioned. Then wait and see what happens. Here's a link to the only Kirby family in Askillaun in 1901. Anne probably the widow of one of the Kirby boys. You could search the civil birth index on family search for the births of the children and learn the father's name (Louisburg/Kilgeever is in Westport registration district). http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Mayo/Emlagh/Askillaun/1604859/ Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Some will list the tenants and other particulars for the landlord. Others will just state the landlord and the amount he was tithed. Some who had Lord LUCAN as the landlord have not been released by the LUCAN family. There are some mixed with those of Lord SLIGO for Westport House but not complete. Perhaps other Anglo Irish landlord families have not relased their records either. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. They were Wesleyan Methodists so they are hard to find they stayed that religion when they came over to Quebec (Lachute) in 1829. Luke must have been born about 1775 because he was a Yeoman in the 1798 French/British war in Killala. The Scott family came to Ireland after the Cormwell fighting in the 1600's . I'm told that there are about 40 families of Scott's that came to Ireland at that time.... Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
