LYnne Re your recent post about the Dowds. I am related to both the Cox family of Shantum and Castlepollard in Westmeath. (Different families and not related) I am also related to the Kennedy family, of Mt. Kennedy, near Granard. The separating characteristic was that they were all members of the Church of Ireland.
