Hi Alice The Grange your Kelly family lived in is located in east Galway. It's been consolidated along with Bullaun and Killaan into one parish now called New Inn. I know this because I've been researching my Mahon family from that area, and visited that parish in 1997. My Patrick Mahon was born there in 1837, joined the RIC for a few years, moved to Paddington in London about 1866, married, and then moved the young family to Brooklyn NY in 1870. If you'd like, do write me off list and let's see if we can fill in a few blanks in our families' histories. It's rare that I come across someone researching in the New Inn area.
