Same here in the UK - once they get Halloween out of the way (which has gone totally American over here) all the xmas stuff comes out. Have to laugh, the local supermarket is selling xmas cakes and yule logs etc but the sell by date is for mid November! My wife insists the tree goes up two weeks before xmas and it'll stay that way to about Jan 2nd. I don't get into the xmas spirit until xmas eve when I rush out and get the wife a present. I spend the new year detoxing. hic Sean
