Hi Jim; Anghaile or "Annaly," which was formed out of the ancient territory of Teffia comprised the whole of the county of Longford and was the principality of O'Farrell. Hy-Maine comprised, a great part of south Connaught including Galway and the barony of Athlone in the south of Roscommon. Moylurg, Tir-Oilill, Tir-Tuathail, Arteach and Clan Cuain were in Roscommon. Moylurg comprised the plains of Boyle in Roscommon. Tir-Oilill, is now Tireill in Sligo. Arteach was a district near Lough Gara on the borders of Sligo and Mayo. Clan Cuain was a district in the barony of Carra near Castlebar. For other parts of Ireland some names are Thomond roughly Clare. Hy-Kinselagh roughly Waterford and Wexford. Brefne roughly Cavan and Leitrim. Tirconnel roughly Donegal. Tirowen roughly Tyrone and Derry. Just to name a few.
