I was interested in the names DOYLE and KELLY ... I too have DOYLE and KELLY among my ancestors. It is interesting to note that Thomas KELLY married a Margaret DOYLE - perhaps they were neighbors, living close by ... raises the speculation that possibly my Felix DOYLE and Ann KELLY were among these same DOYLES and KELLYS? My gr-gr-grandmother's brother, Felix DOYLE, was married to an Ann/Anna KELLY. They lived in Cambria County, PA, in the Johnstown area - Ebensburg, Cambria Borough, and Johnstown. They are buried in St. Columba Cemetery in Lower Yoder, PA. Felix was born in 1821, Co. Galway, and died 1908 in Johnstown. They had 8 children: Dora Anna DOYLE, b. 1867; (married John S. REILLY, b. Scotland; they lived in Youngstown, OH) Felix A. DOYLE, b. 1869; (lived in NJ) Mary DOYLE, b. ? Joseph DOYLE, b. ? Luke DOYLE, b. ? Daniel DOYLE, b. ? Barbara DOYLE, b. ? Bernard DOYLE, b. ? (died young) Ann KELLY died between 1870-1880; she had a sister named Martha KELLY, who lived with her nephew, Felix A. (the son), in NJ until she died. Felix (the father) remarried Margaret GANNING after Ann/Anna died, and they also had children. Three of them are: Katie DOYLE Margaret DOYLE William DOYLE We know nothing about Anna KELLY, where she came from, who her family was. We think she may have emigrated with Felix around 1850.
