Just a comment. I started copying Ballymahon town today for the 1901 census. There was one person in jail - for stealing cattle. Only initials used. Also 80 people in the workhouse. Again only initials so I don't think it will be much use unfortunately. 80 people seemed a rather significant number though. Christina
