Ellen, have now sent you a copy of some Early Family details, from my Records, but those of the Lynch & Donohoe Families were sent to you in previous correspondence, as per my files. Responses to some Mahady/Mahedy & Reilly enquiries have been previously sent to the List and should be searched for in the IRL-Longford List Archives, to avert repetitive submissions. The Reilly extract below is only due to the Early Connection. BTW, have you managed to carry out your return visit to Ireland. Witnesses - Thomas Early & Mary Early. Children:- 15.1 Thomas* born 6 January 1840. Sponsors - Thomas & Catherine Early. NOTE:- Mother recorded as being Anna??, but Mary was the correct name, as confirmed by her Great-Great Grandson Brian O'Connell. Witnesses - James Finnan & Mary Kiernan. **** The Mahady/Mahedy/Early/Reilly Connection **** MMM140 Patrick* MAHEDY married Anna REILLY Abt 1865 Both lived and were married in Boherquill area. * Could this be the son of William & Judith Mahedy (MMM 134), due to the Irish naming custom of the time, with one of the female twins being named as Judith and the first male child of the Marriage being named William, however, at this stage it still has not been proven, as no Birth Record has been found. * See also MMM 13 for a William & Judith (Mahon) Mahedy) Children:- (Boherquill Records per John Mahedy) 140.1 Judith born 4 May 1864 at Boherquill. ** See below.
