    3. Kesa, the Irish Government sent the Australian Government all of the Irish Transportation Records, which were available, as a gift for the Bi-Centenary Celebrations, during 1988, and these may be found on the Irish National Archives Web Site, which is shown below, for your information and assistance. http://www.nationalarchives.ie/topics/transportation/transp1.htm or just http://www.nationalarchives.ie/search/a.htm + Links You should have a look for your Ann Reilly at this Site, as the Records are fairly comprehensive, and you may even find the trial details which provide more detailed information on both the reasons for such trial and perhaps some other details as to a probable location of her place of residence, or her family. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- OK, I may have found her, so, now visit your National Library and ask them for the Irish Convict Transportation Records and quote ### Document Reference No. TR 7, pg 221 and you may be as lucky as I was, in 1989, to find all about James Mahady. You may also wish to contact the National Archives through the Site, for details, should the National Library not be able to help. BTW, you will notice that it is Anne, whereas you had Ann, and this is something that should be remembered when searcing as my first attempt at Ann Reilly resulted in "No Person Found", until I put Ann*** , as I do with Mah***, for Mahady variations etc. Let me know how you go and drop me a line direct, re the result.
