Elleanor lived at Derrindiff. Witnesses - James Farrell & Mary Geraghty. Children:- (All children born Newtowncashel) 70.1 Mary christened 29 August 1857, Newtowncashel 70.2 Margaret chris. 22 March 1859, Newtowncashel. 70.3 Catherine chris. 15 December1861, Newtowncashel. 70.4 Elizabeth born 15 May 1866 at Newtowncashel, but christened 25 May 1866 at Ballymahon. 70.5 Michael born 19 May 1868 at Newtowncashel, but christened 25 June 1868 at Ballymahon. 70.6 Ellen christened 30 April 1872,Newtowncashel. Children:- (Westmeath National Library,Mullingar,Records) (plus also details from Moate Heritage Centre) 111.1 William born October 1792 at Mullingar. NOTE:- # Geraghty was also registered as being Giraty, but previous research would indicate Geraghty correct. No other details available at this stage. MMM 83 James KERRIGAN married Catherine MAHADY 23 Oct 1861 at Parochial House, Rathowen. No other details available at this stage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MMM 87 Thomas MAHADY married Mary RYAN 20 Jan 1892 at the Parochial House, Multyfarnham, Westmeath. Children:- (Children born & christened Multyfarnham) 87.1 Mary Elizabeth born 16 April 1893. 87.2 James Patrick born 10 November 1894. 87.3 Bridget born 31 October 1896. NOTE:- Brian O'Connell has advised that this is the marriage of his Granduncle Thomas, born 1 May 1871 at Edgeworthstown, and eldest son of the marriage of Thomas & Mary (Farrell) Mahady. See MMM 4.2. He lived all of his married life in Westmeath. See MMM 4,15,18,53 & 137 for other Members of Branch.
