Even if your ancestor left Ireland before that date, she very well may have had family members would remained behind - you do not say how old she was when she left. Since this surname (and its variants) are so common in Longford, I would further suggest that you buy a book by David Leahy called COUNTY LONGFORD SURVIVORS of the GREAT FAMINE, which is a comprehensive index to GPV. Keep in mind this only gives heads of households and not all who live in that family group.
